It is proposed to extend the main circuit by approximately 300metres. The new track will head in an easterly direction from the existing unloader and will then cross over a creek on a double track 4 span steel lattice truss bridge. After curving around and heading in a north easterly direction the track is then to cross another creek on a 2 span queen post truss timber bridge before looping around for over 225 degrees, crossing the creek again, this time on a 2 span timber trestle bridge and heading back in a westerly direction. It will then pass back over the 4 span steel lattice truss bridge before joining onto the existing siding just before the tunnel. A station with a passing loop, two carriage sidings & a spur line leading to an unloader will be constructed on the 225 degree loop. The new unloader will replace the existing unloader once Stage 3 is completed.
